A Sales Engineer is required to support the sales and marketing operations of the company in support of custom automation and production applications. The equipment that we produce can range from machining systems to assembly systems to forming systems, as well as production. To succeed in this position the candidate must have a passion for manufacturing, automation, and time management. More importantly you must have a desire to learn and to try new things. Qualifications:
The candidate for this position should have proven engineer-to-order and manufacturing sales experience. A strong technical background is important. There will be considerable opportunity for this candidate to learn new skills and to test their new skills in support of new and unusual projects. Opportunities to utilize skills in sales, marketing, operations, and general management will certainly be available for a candidate that can demonstrate solid performance. Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral, are a requirement. We run a collaborative engineering environment and the candidate must be able to communicate with all members of the organization as well as our customers.

In order to support proper communications in our organization, the candidate must be or become proficient in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and OneNote.

- Sale of automation equipment and production services
- Support of customer proposal writing and presentation
- Tracking and follow-up on all customer proposals and opportunities
- Collaboration with Operations in support of Sales activities
- Coordination of all Marketing activities.
- Assist with miscellaneous operational duties.

- Must have technical understanding and appreciation of manufacturing systems.
- Must be an enthusiastic problem solver.
- Must have exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Organizational skills must be top level to help coordinate activities on as many as 500 to 600 active and proposed customer projects.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
