Position Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue and expanding our customer base. You will focus on identifying potential customers, building relationships, and closing deals. If you’re a results-oriented salesperson with a passion for helping customers and a background in sales—preferably in the solar industry—this role could be a great fit!
Key Responsibilities
Engage with inbound leads and prospects to understand their needs and present Northern Power offerings.
Conduct outbound calls and follow-up on leads to generate new business opportunities.
Build strong customer relationships, provide exceptional service, and maintain consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Northern Power’s products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and objections.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Document all interactions and sales activities in the CRM, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
Work closely with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and improve the sales process.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
Proven sales experience in an inside sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Previous experience in solar energy sales is a strong plus but not required.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated with a results-driven approach and a competitive nature.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
