Job description

AEM Group, an Electronics Manufacturer Representative Company / Rep Firm, seeking a local experienced and motivated Technical Sales Engineer in the Atlanta GA marketplace.

POSITION SUMMARY

A local experienced and competitive Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) with Sales Experience or Distribution Sales Experience of local markets in our industry to generate sales growth area across a broad line card including semiconductors, passives, wireless and power modules, LCD, connectors, LED and more to help drive sales growth in the Industrial and Medical segment.

The TSE will collaborate with the company sales team, marketing, and customer’s engineers to help uncover and design in solutions as well as provide technical support to our customers.

  • This is a local field position; travel to customers, face-to-face meetings is necessary.
  • A BS Electrical Engineering Degree is a plus but not required with proven sales experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical product support to the company sales team and customers at all stages of the engagement process, from presales to post installation and deployment support.
  • Provide solution recommendation support, system architecture guidance, and schematic reviews.
  • Identify and communicate with principal business units and TSEs the technical requirements for new markets & applications or customer needs.
  • Regular product updates and training to customers, sales, and distribution partners.
  • Have the confidence and persuasive skills to earn the respect of engineering leaders both internally and with the customer.

SKILLS

  • Charismatic communicator that can advocate for customers to an internal audience and for the company to the customer.
  • Solid Problem-Solving methodology
  • A passionate and curious technologist with an ability to learn and adapt to industry trends.
  • Basic knowledge of digital communication bus such as I2C bus and firmware reloading/rebooting experience.

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of electronics design and/or applications experience
  • BS Electrical Engineering degree is a plus, but not required
  • Must be located within the local Atlanta GA Metropolitan Area
  • Employment Type Full-time Remote within marketplace
