As the Senior Director of North America Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team performance, strategy and operations within the North America geography. You will play a pivotal role in driving orders and revenue growth, building and maintaining critical client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of the sales team. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the North American market.

This position is part of the Global Sales Organization and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Global Sales Leadership Team and report to the VP, Global Sales responsible for Global Sales and Commercial Operations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Sales Performance: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market dynamics, in order to hit an assigned quota.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate a high-performing Account Manager & Inside Sales Leadership Team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Sales Insights: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement

  • Forecasting: Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to support business planning and resource allocation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science related field, business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • 10 years proven experience in sales management roles for life sciences, medical device or pharma industry. $50 M - 100 M + revenue responsibility.

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales strategies, methodologies, and best practices. Well practiced in lean manufacturing principles and / or DBS ( Danaher Business System).

  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams. Highly influential to drive business outcomes across all sales functions ( field sales, inside sales, channel sales etc. )

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships. Well connected at C-Suite and key decision makers.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and sales performance improvements. Adept at analytics, funnel management, forecasting and other sales tools.

  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as required , remote based East Coast or Central US preferred. #LI-Remote

The salary range for this role is $230,000 - $275,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
