Overview

The Key Account Manager will focus on the acquisition of new business and retention of
YESCO’s national client portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally
and externally to deliver consistently excellent client experiences. Consult with clients to assess
needs and identify opportunities to provide solutions, develop client standards, build and
maintain client success strategies, provide training and support to the YESCO team both
internally and externally.

Objectives of this position:

  • Retention and maintenance of existing clients
  • Acquisition, and onboarding of clients
  • Establish relationships as a trusted partner to help ensure the continued value of
YESCO’s capabilities are presented clearly and effectively
  • Develop and maintain customer-success strategies and best practices with the sales
team
  • Provide cross-functional team and peer leadership by effectively creating and
implementing client specific training and support both internally and externally
  • Regularly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to better
understand customer needs, maximize growth, and share knowledge
  • Create standard operating procedures which will maximize our efficiency and provide
excellent client satisfaction
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of new and existing opportunities within a CRM system
  • Monitor both the client’s and YESCO’s established KPIs
  • Host client-specific business reviews both internally and externally
  • Propose and negotiate contracts
  • Manage contracts
  • Represent YESCO at tradeshows, conferences, and client hosted events
Responsibilities
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport
while identifying areas of opportunity and maintaining customer records and pipeline
accordingly
  • Use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues by providing solutions
  • Collaborate, problem-solve, and strategize with team members to support client needs
  • Host and attend customer meetings both in person and virtually
  • Prepare customized presentations, programs, and proposals based on client needs

  • Travel up to 30% of the time

Nature of Work Contacts

Has direct contact with the national customer base, including (not limited to) senior and
executive leadership in facilities, marketing, and procurement. Provides (internal) peer
leadership and consistent engagement with Client Success Specialists, Project Specialists, and
Regional Coordinators.Will have direct contact with YESCO’s vast network of corporate and
franchise leadership.

A Bachelor’s degree in business with a strong emphasis in communication and marketing. Plus
a minimum of five years’ experience, or any combination of education, experience, and training
which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Gmail Suite
  • Ability to practice business agility and pivot based on the needs of the client and/or
YESCO
  • The ability to provide cross functional team leadership
  • Time management skills; the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Previous experience with CRM platforms
  • B2B and B2C experience with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales and new
client acquisition goals
  • 3-5+ years leadership or sales management experience
  • 5-7+ years of account management, technical sales, project management, executive
sales experience or a combination of experience

This is a remote position. You will be required to have a dedicated workspace in a home office
free from distraction and reliable internet connectivity. There will be a 90 day evaluation to

performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: focus for long periods of
time; use computers to enter data; use telephone to converse with customers; perform repetitive
wrist, hand and/or finger movement. The employee is regularly required to: talk, feel the
attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands. Must be able to occasionally
move objects of 10-15 lbs. Specific vision abilities include: clarity of vision at 20 inches or less;
and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. Must have the ability to manage
stressful situations including long work hours and the flexibility to meet client needs. Travel is
required up to 30% of the time.
