Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet dealership sales targets
- Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Train and mentor sales staff on effective selling techniques and customer service skills
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to provide a seamless customer experience
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a management or leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of state and federal automotive sales laws and regulations
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
