Job Summary
Identify ongoing/new business opportunities and organize effective means to increase product sales. Collaborating with engineering firms, owners to develop project specifications utilizing FORTA product lines. Drive all projects to the concrete sales team. Provide technical expertise on products and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Implement product specifications through direct customer contact (telecommunication, and in-person), video conferences, webinars, trade show participation, etc.
● Consult with existing and potential clients to assess their needs and how FORTA products can solve their problems.
● Serve as engineering liaison between internal and external customers.
● Provides technical expertise to support the sales team, communicating products and services offered.
● Ensures that customers needs are met.
● Utilize CRM software to track opportunities: log calls, emails, maintain customer information.
● Participate in pipeline forecasting project projections.
● Perform site visits and provide Daily Field Reports to customers
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
● Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or similar field related to products and services being sold is preferred.
● Required minimum 2 - years of related product or sales experience in the concrete construction industry.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Superb sales and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
● Capacity to apply engineering principles, or other technologies to product sales.
● High organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
● Comfortable in professional public speaking events able to provide technical presentations.
● Must be available to travel (but may vary) 75% of the time.
