Job Description

Northwest Jeep Ram is looking for an experienced desk manager to help run the sales deapartment of our dealership. We are a high volume dealership and looking to add to our management with the mindset of increasing our efficiency, sales, gross, and overall health of our sales department. Job duties include:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and oversee a team of automotive salespeople
  • Desk vehicle transactions at a fast pace, high volume dealership
  • Set sales goals, including gross and volume expectations. Track progress, leading the team to achieve and exceed our quotas
  • Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide one on one guidance to improve sales performance
  • Project monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Add insights and order vehicles for upcoming month's allocation
  • Step in to answer customer questions, resolve issues, and take over a vehicle transaction on the showroom floor when required
  • Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
  • Develop and manage CRM leads and follow up process to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
  • Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers based on manufacturer’s standards
  • Compile regular reports for dealership management to review

Automotive Sales Manager Requirement and Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role at a dealership
  • Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
  • Substantial track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outgoing and service-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of inventory control and management
  • Knowledge of expense control and reconditioning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
