The Sales Manager is the unwavering support that the sales team relies on for knowledge and guidance. As our Sales Manager, you are responsible in developing a high-performing team. The Sales Manager will fluently understand how to price and evaluate trades and understand how to achieve net profit targets.


Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Meeting sales targets and goals by motivating and instilling a passion for serving customers and delivering exceptional service
  • Develop action plans/activities to achieve monthly objectives for unit sales and gross profits
  • Effectively manage new and used car inventory
  • Report to the General Manager on floor traffic ratios, closing and cost to market.
  • Address associate and customer complaints/ concerns
  • Fulfills responsibilities primarily through effective personnel management, knowledge of market potential, and established performance standards.

Qualifications of the Sales Manager:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ Years of Sales Management experience -Or- Minimum of 3 years proven sales track record if you are a current salesperson ready to take the next step
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be proficient in English
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to achieve desired results.
  • Be assertive and knowledgeable in dealership sales operations
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Required to pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and background check
