About the Job Job Description Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, well-motivated individual, capable of following up and obtaining dispositions on price bids sent to qualified customers by the Claridge West Construction Division. This position will target all commercial construction projects bid in the region, to ensure that we are obtaining critical market intelligence, analytics on bid pricing, and tracking competitive activity in the region.
Essential Functions
The Construction Bid Center Closer is required to be able to learn and utilize Pipedrive CRM and the Microsoft suite of business products. The Construction Bid Center Closer role must be skilled in time management, communication, and relationship building. This role will require a strong desire to close existing work and manage the progress of said work within our existing tech stack.
Objectives
· Utilizing existing tools to review open projects for the follow-up to close with existing accounts
· Bid negotiation to ensure a deal is reached and a purchase order is tendered
· Maintain CRM database of open bids and their outcomes
Requirements
· Experience in Microsoft computer software and Client Management Systems (CRM) a plus
· Minimum 1+ years of work experience in construction products field sales or
· Minimum 1+ years of work experience in the architectural openings industry within Divisions 8, 9, and 10 are a plus

· Capable of utilizing existing tools to initiate contact with clients to negotiate and close work while maintaining a CRM database of open bids

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Work Conditions:
· Construction Bid Center Closer reports to the Western Regional Sales Manager and has no direct reports
· Ability to work in an office setting utilizing a computer for daily tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
