Full time : Monday to Friday (8hours)
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving target sales. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to generating leads, and the ability to work collaboratively with the operation team. We require a salesperson to lead the effort to build new business, working hand in hand with the Operations team in the company supported by Network partners worldwide.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and generate new business
- Promote our services which include, but are not limited to Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export and Trucking
- Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Identify market trends and competitive rate actions and communicate those trends to management
- Conduct and analyze market research using various sales tools to identify target account opportunities in international and domestic supply chains through social media, industry events, and the Collaborative Sell program
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with internal team members to prepare for RFI/RFQs then deliver presentations to interested customers
- Ensure strong relationships with existing customers to maintain high customer satisfaction and further up-sell services.
- Provides weekly updates of sales activities; and upon securing new customers, reports services and customer requirements for implementation
- Find and develop qualified leads (cold calling), then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers
- Continuously keep the sales pipeline full with deals at various types and stages, including fresh/new (qualified) leads/introductions, and mid/late-stage sales life cycle targets.
- Perform regular visits to qualified prospects and customers to drive the business and grow the company’s revenue, market share, and profitability
- Maintain consistent communication with the Operations team and overseas offices
Minimum Requirements;
- Must be knowledgeable of freight forwarding operations in ocean and air transportation
- Ideally have 5-10 years of Freight sales experience
- Self-starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Possess a client-focused mindset with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals
- Excel in decision-making and problem-solving with exceptional analytical skills

$55,000-$75,000 (negotiable) + incentive
