Position: Sales Manager / Construction Industry


Reports to: Senior Sales Manager


Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday


Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating the Estimator team to achieve sales objectives, providing support in customer communications, and overseeing the sales process to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
This role involves coordinating with various departments to maintain smooth operations and addressing urgent scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management:
  • Build and develop the Estimator Team by providing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Plan and conduct monthly sales meetings.
  • Ensure estimators adhere to company protocols and maintain high performance standards.
  • Monitor sales activity and address any performance issues.

Customer Management:
  • Support estimators in communicating effectively with customers.
  • Improve customer understanding of the sales and production processes.
  • Address and resolve customer questions and concerns.

Business Management:
  • Oversee the sales process, reviewing proposals to ensure all specifications, equipment, materials, labor, and projected timelines are accurate.
  • Experience in reading and scaling site plans.
  • Analyze past sales performance data and project future performance to set realistic sales goals.
  • Identify sales trends and suggest actions to improve performance and profitability.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the sales department and other departments, including administration, marketing, and production.
  • Handle emergency jobs that require immediate scheduling and communicate these needs to relevant departments.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Sales Manager.
  • Utilize the Paycor online timekeeping system to log work hours daily, ensuring timecards are correct and approved weekly by Tuesday of each week.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to timekeeping.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficient in using timekeeping and sales management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Paid Time Off:
  • Up to 2 weeks paid Vacation and 6 Paid Holidays

Salary and Benefits:
  • Starting Salary is $65,000.00 Annually
  • After 90 day probation period, you will be eligible for ACPLM benefits including Vision and Dental, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, Hospitalization and Cancer benefits that are at a minimal cost to you and will be payroll deducted weekly. You will also be eligible to enroll in our Telehealth Services paid for by ACPLM for you and up to nine dependents.
  • You will be eligible to participate in the company's 401K plan after 6 months of full time employment. ACPLM, Inc. will make a safe harbor matching contribution equal to 100% of your salary deferrals that do not exceed 3% of your compensation plus 50% of your salary deferrals between 3% and 5% of your compensation. This safe harbor matching contribution is 100% vested.
