Strategic Initiatives and Business Development Manager

As a Strategic Initiatives & Business Development Manager, you’ll lead exciting new projects and help shape our future by driving key partnerships and strategic growth opportunities. What you'll do:

• Drive Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and funding sources.
• Lead Projects: Manage the planning and execution of strategic initiatives from idea to implementation.
• Collaborate: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure success.
• Innovate: Propose and launch creative projects that align with CME's mission and goals.
• Measure Success: Monitor progress and report outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). An AA degree combined with years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic project management, or a related role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex initiatives and projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• Ability to pass Washington State and Federal background checks and obtain level 5 security clearance.
