POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Sales Manager is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with our customers in their assigned territory. They will build upon the strong reputation that Berkshire E Supply and Morse Cutting Tools have within the industry and provide products to our customers that meet and exceed their requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop business relationships with potential and existing customers

· Understand customer business models and product needs

· Expand sales with existing distributors and end users.

· Run tool tests at end users

· Train distributors on product offering

· Provide reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth

· Work with target accounts by scheduling sales calls, training and presentations

· Encourage customer website usage

· Travel when necessary

· Attend trade shows as necessary

· Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 3 years related sales experience (inside /outside), in the cutting tool / metalworking sector, is required
• A well rounded knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Proven ability to be analytical, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively
• Skilled at building relationships and working with all levels of customer hierarchy
• Proficient computer skills and aptitude
• Possession of a valid license and a suitable vehicle
• Related post-secondary education, or equivalent experience
