WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The AMS.NET, an MGT company is looking for a Territory Account Manager that is responsible for prospecting for new customers, managing existing and recently acquired customers from their prospecting efforts, presenting business solutions to meet the business needs of both potential and existing customers, closing the sale and meeting or exceeding their assigned sales quotas.

In this role you will:

  • Prospects and networks to find potential new customers who would benefit from AMS.NET’s products and services, including small and white space accounts in their geography.
  • Leads solution development efforts to address customer needs, coordinating with AMS.NET personnel and resources as necessary.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with account base stakeholders, manufacturing partners, and AMS.NET employees.
  • Coordinates AMS.NET personnel to meet or exceed customer expectations during presales and ongoing account maintenance.
  • Works with other AMS.NET departments for smooth project hand-offs to Operations Department.
  • Meets or exceeds sales targets and strategic objectives.
  • Proactively assesses and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Completes required sales documentation and reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer information in AMS.NET Salesforce.
  • Tracks projects and associated revenue during pre-sale phases.
  • Conducts accurate and timely forecasting within AMS.NET Salesforce.
  • Attends required training and development programs.
  • Adheres to all company sales policies and procedures.
  • Supports AMS.NET marketing efforts and initiatives.
  • Actively prospect into territory for new business opportunities from potential accounts not currently served by AMS.NET.
  • Use various prospecting methods like cold calling, email campaigns, attending/following up on marketing efforts, and collaborating with partner account managers.
  • Acquire new customers and maintain existing ones with equal focus.
  • Adapt to AMS.NET processes and utilize provided sales tools effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Minimum of one (1) years of sales experience sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment preferred, with high-tech, data, or telecom experience desired.
  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • Experience in selling to the Public Sector (SLED) is desirable.
  • Available for travel to customer sites throughout California and to industry trades shows
  • Present technical solutions, persuade, and handle objections effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with interpersonal skills.

  • Valid California driver’s license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Automobile and car insurance.
  • Job requires frequent travel to customer locations.
