ABOUT THE JOB:

As the Director of Commercial Operations, Tools, and Systems, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our commercial processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of tools, systems, and processes that support our commercial operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, business acumen, execution ability, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. You will lead and develop a team of Sales Operations professionals that collaborate with sales, operations, product, marketing, and other stakeholders to support various go-to-market strategies that sustain and accelerate sales/business growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on sales efficiency, productivity, and process strategies to increase business/sales growth and overall performance.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of tools and systems in partnership with IT to support sales, marketing, pricing, and customer service functions. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for commercial related updates or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and workflow optimization.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of commercial operations and drive performance improvements.
  • Actively documents and creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to business process changes and communicates to the sales organization.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for commercial operations, tools, and systems.
  • Responsible for maintaining SFDC data accuracy for territory and account assignments, goals, account hierarchy, and age of pipeline, tasks, and projects.
  • Partner with commercial and other senior leaders to align commercial operations with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Participates and advises Sales Leadership during annual/quarterly planning and forecasting processes, including development of sales plans, territory planning models, and provides recommendations for any identified gaps.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence within the commercial operations team.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial operations, business process improvement, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing tools, systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in the modular space or construction industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com), ERP systems (preferably SAP), and other commercial tools and technologies.

Travel: May require occasional overnight travel.
