Certain Logistics Inc. is an asset-based, full-service container freight station (“CFS”) based in Richmond, BC. We maintain up to 100,000 sq. ft. of warehousing capacity and offer a broad range of logistics and warehousing services. Our services include inbound receiving (both palletized and non-palletized loads), order fulfillment and outbound shipping, short and long-term storage, transloading, and cross-docking. We also provide local drayage, cross-Canada linehaul, and final-mile delivery services in the Vancouver-area. Position Overview:
We are seeking an Account Manager that has experience managing client projects in the logistics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships while overseeing logistics projects and being the client's main points of contact for the company.
Job Duties:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare client presentations and detailed quotes on a per project basis
- Create detailed project SOPs for the warehouse and transportation teams to execute
- Help to negotiate agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership by working closely with and guiding departmental teams towards achieving client goals
Experience:
- Proven experience in the logistics industry, such as freight forwarding, warehousing, or third-party logistics (3PL)
- Proven experience in account management, project management, or operations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with WMS and Excel is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
