SALES MANAGER – Luxury Furnishings - Greenwich, CT

This full-time senior sales leader position. Salary, bonus and commission structure to be discussed during an in-person interview, expected range $60-130k .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Your primary responsibility is to promote and sell our unique, high-quality creations to potential buyers, collectors, and art enthusiasts, with a polished style and enthusiasm.

· Your role involves interacting with clients, facilitating sales transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your exceptional expertise and contribution to new and innovative strategies set you apart from most.

· You will present and discuss the features, aesthetics, and value of artwork to create interest and desire among buyers, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.

· Have a knowledge of Greenwich market to build and maintain a client list, including collectors, interior designers, celebrities and corporate clients. Expand your professional network and identify new potential clients through Palm Beach organizations, events and community or other networking opportunities.

· Follow up and through with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales or future collaborations.

· Your collaboration with our Marketing and Social Media team will be instrumental in expanding market share and solidifying our position as an east coast destination for luxury designers and clients seeking the finest in high-end furnishings and accessories.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

· 5+ years of sales experience in high-end design, art or luxury retail

· Superior organization and leadership skills, sales-minded and a high level of initiative

· Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail

· Passion and ability to master and execute the Cocoon design aesthetic

· Proficiency with POS and Mac operating systems

· Results driven and impeccably dressed for success

· Must be willing to be in the gallery on Friday evenings and Saturdays

OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 20 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques

· Ability to maneuver effectively around gallery floor, stock room and office

· Position requires prolonged standing, twisting, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing

Cocoon Gallery was founded in Greenwich, Connecticut more than 20 years ago, Cocoon moved its showroom to Naples' historic 5th Avenue in 2020 and Palm Beach in 2023. We are now expanding our gallery once again and coming back to the vibrant Greenwich Ave in Greenwich, CT where we seek to engage with new art and design enthusiasts. The Greenwich gallery will be a showcase for wood furniture, wall art, sculpture, minerals and ceramics, in a modern, luxurious atmosphere. Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
