Starting at $15/hour with potential to earn up to $17/hour based on performance

About the job

As a First-Party Collections Agent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer account management, payment negotiation and collection, as well as answering general inquiries about the customer’s account.

Main responsibilities

Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems
Verifying consumer information
Professionally negotiating with consumers and exploring money sources to determine the best possible arrangement
Maximize revenue and achieve set goals and objectives
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Update customer files with appropriate information and ensure information being placed in customer files follow regulatory, client-specific, and corporate guidelines

Qualifications

Customer centric
Negotiation skills with a can-do attitude
Excellent verbal, phone and email communication skills
Good computer skills
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Candidates must be within travel distance to our Hampton office location
