Boston Event Guide is seeking a dynamic Event Sales Executive to join our team as we grow and develop.
The person who fills this role must have a high comfort level with reaching out to prospects. You should be driven to achieve and exceed targets and have a passion for sales! You will be developing relationships with possible vendors/ sponsors. If you would love working on large scale events and driving business with Boston’s biggest companies, this role is for you..
We are focusing on selling our event staffing/ planning initiatives and looking for someone who can come in and take on this project with a strategic approach, driving partnerships that align with our brand's goals and expanding our network of collaborators.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals to sell fun events and marketing initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and develop relationships with new clients to utilize our event planning/ staffing services
- Build new sponsorship, vendors, and groups sales for current events
- Drive new corporate event planning and marketing sales
- Research/outreach to new sponsors & corporate event planning relationships
- Maintain existing business
- Close new business to achieve goals
- Develop new ways to expand our partnership lists
We are looking for a sales professional who can quickly learn our research processes, hit sales goals, stay organized, and find solutions when problems arise.

1. This position requires a driven, hardworking, team player who can work independently to drive sponsorships and new business. Please describe your most challenging experience demonstrating these requirements and your ability to achieve and go above and beyond the desired goals.

3. What experience do you have keeping up with follow ups and existing accounts in a CRM?
4. Name 3 ways to find new business in a previous sales role. (networking events, direct mail etc.) Bonus points for elaborating.
