Mallory Safety & Supply is looking to hire a Key Account Manager to join our growing teams in Ellabell, Georgia!

Currently, Mallory is looking for motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join Mallory as a Key Account Manager. This is a chance to join Mallory in a new and growing relationship with a customer in the area. This a dynamic, multi-faceted role thats a great fit for a driven salesperson looking to take the next step in their career.

Job Summary: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for establishing and increasing sales revenue with a key partner and adjacent accounts onsite in Ellabell. In addition, partnering with key decision makers and building trust and rapport with clients will be at the core of this role, particularly in a competitive industry such as automotive.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as monthly and annual territory analyses as requested
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Problem solves by working with other associates to achieve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Resolves customer complaints and questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by working with suppliers, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills across a variety of platforms
  • Proven track record of building customer relationships
  • Self-starter spirit and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and other company software platforms

Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, Inside sales experience required
  • Proven track record of increasing key accounts
  • Direct Industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with safety/safety supplies, MRO, Construction, Vending, Automotive industry preferred
  • Experience using a CRM, Outlook, and familiarity with Teams or related platforms
  • Valid Drivers License required

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional bending, twisting, standing, and stooping
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
