- Work closely with the Area President, Practice Leaders and VP Operations to drive retention and support in new business initiatives.
- Assist the Area President in the hiring, mentoring and development of sales staff to ensure alignment with goals and objectives in the region.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation campaigns.
- Coordinating program development.
- Assisting Producers in client and prospect in-person presentations
- Ongoing coordination of sales, technical, specialization.
- Working with Area President to establish an annual sales plan with strong growth goals that will act as baseline for accountability and development.
- Hold a select group of Producers accountable for delivering against relevant targets and providing coaching & development opportunities to support their success.
- Create a positive work environment and promote opportunities for personal growth and career development.
- Overseeing sales activities and monitoring progress within Salesforce
- Promoting the organization and various divisions.
- Working closely with the National Sales Team to ensure delivery of Sales and Tools training.
- Working closely with National Sales to ensure we deliver exceptional experiences to clients and prospects by leveraging tools and resources and communicating through our CORE360 materials.
- Working collaboratively with Operations leaders, identify opportunities to improve retention and increase revenue through upsell opportunities on the existing book.
- Manage key localized market relationships.
- Assist in development of sales and marketing plans to support continuous top-line and bottom-line growth and brand awareness.
- Ensure staff is utilizing the Gallagher tools, including but not limited to CORE360, Drive, GWIN, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Minimum of 7 years of previous experience within insurance or other industries
- Minimum of 5 years previous talent management & development experience required
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and initiatives and deliver desired results
- Proven experience with developing a book of business
- Demonstrated and proven results in employee development
- Strong analysis and decision making ability
- Highly organized and strong time management skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading change and building strategic relations
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in computer and software skills (previous Salesforce, EPIC experience an asset)
Preferred:
- 7 years of commercial lines experience – brokerage experience as an asset
- CIP/FCIP/CRM an asset RIBO license ideal but not mandatory
