INSIDE SALES TEAM MANAGER AND COACH

Our President is calling for reinforcements—we need a person who can grow our Inside Sales Team and coach them to achieve unbelievable goals. We need an experienced Sales Manager to coach, oversee, and support our Inside Sales Team. We need a Leader who loves helping folks, can keep pace with our growth and is able to sustain the high standards our customers expect.
What You Will Work On
- Leadership and Coaching: Lead, coach, and train the Sales Team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Recruitment Support: Collaborate with the Sales Recruiter in the recruitment process, including interviewing and hiring new members for our rapidly expanding Inside Sales Team.
- Performance Monitoring and Goal Setting: Monitor key metrics and collaborate with the VP of Sales Operations to establish and track individual and team goals.
- Customer Understanding and Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and the significance of our products within the Asphalt Paving Market, becoming a subject matter expert in Asphalt Paving and our product offerings.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Ensure proficiency among team members in using our Tech Stack tools such as Salesforce, Slack, and Conquer Voice to optimize sales processes and efficiency.
- Customer Relationship Building: Train the team to cultivate one-on-one relationships with customers, positioning themselves as trusted advisors and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Guide the team in executing sales strategies, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives, to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, aligning sales efforts with marketing initiatives for optimal results
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Inside Sales Experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role leading an Inside Sales Team.
- Salesforce Proficiency: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Salesforce.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or Communication, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively engaging with both prospects and internal sales teams.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized individual with a strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Active Listening: Demonstrated ability to listen attentively and purposefully during one-on-one sales meetings, effectively gathering important information to drive sales strategies.
- Coaching Experience is a Plus: Experience as a coach, athletic director, or player in high school or college sports highlighting a background in leadership, teamwork, and mentorship.
- Continuous Learner: A self-starter who is committed to ongoing learning and development, staying updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge to drive personal and team success.
- CRM: Minimum 1+ year experience with Salesforce

Where You Will Work
You will be part of our Inside Sales Team who are located in the historic American Tobacco Campus District in downtown Durham, NC. Modern offices in a historic setting with entertainment, restaurants, covered parking just steps away. You must live within a commutable drive or relocate prior to starting.
