Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to nurture and grow relationships with our clients, ensuring seamless service delivery. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing solutions tailored to client needs while identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Grow Existing Accounts: Ensure high satisfaction and retention. Identify new business opportunities within the existing customer base and through prospecting efforts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Learn and understand the unique service needs of each customer and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Information Gathering: Identify and document the business needs of customers to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Inquiry Handling: Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with dispatch and billing departments to address customer needs effectively.
  • Customer Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new customers, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Order Processing: Handle customer orders with speed and accuracy, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle issues and complaints with creativity, finding solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Customer Support: Be the friendly, approachable expert customers rely on for assistance and guidance.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect valuable feedback and suggestions from customers, sharing insights with relevant teams to enhance services and products.

Shifts Available

  • Day and evening shifts
  • Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability

Requirements

  • Typing Speed: 60 WPM or higher
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel and open to learning customized software
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and professional
  • Experience: Familiarity with air freight is a major advantage
  • Personal Traits: Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and hardworking
  • Location: Reside within a 45-minute commute from Grapevine, TX
  • Lifestyle: Maintain a healthy lifestyle and bring a positive, professional attitude daily
  • Proven Experience: In account management, logistics, or a related field
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the freight and logistics industry (air freight experience preferred)
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail

Qualifications for Maximum Pay

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, preferably within the trucking or freight industry
  • Familiarity with Crown Data Systems is highly preferred
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • High typing accuracy and speed

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
