Job Description
As a Sales Manager reporting directly to the General Manager, you will spearhead the development and execution of the sales strategy while leading a team of sales professionals. Your core responsibilities will revolve around optimizing sales performance, guiding the sales process from initiation to conclusion, cultivating a culture of high performance within the team, addressing customer escalations, and maintaining a commitment to consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and execute initiatives to stimulate organic lead generation, while devising growth strategies for expansion into new geographical markets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
- Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team targets.
- Develop and manage sales budget including profit and loss, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in all sales activities.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to the company management team.
- Partner with Service Operations and Installation Teams to maximize lead opportunities for the service technicians and installers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to efficiently identify, recruit, and hire qualified candidates.
- Demonstrated success as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, showcasing a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous business-to-consumer sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation and training skills to all levels.
- Strong ability to develop new and effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Confidence in leading and guiding a diverse team.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and clear driver abstract.
