Senior Banking Relationship Officer

The Sr. Private Banking Relationship Officer manages a private banking portfolio of individuals of high-net worth using banking strategies, solutions and advice that is customized to the client’s needs. They develop and maintain client relationships by engaging the resources of other parts of the organization to provide meaningful and high level of personalized service.
What You’ll Do:
- Provides full-service banking to high value clients.
- Consults with Private Banking Manager regarding the client’s holistic financial needs, recommending products, solutions, and services that provide value to the client;
- Services, develops, manages and expands mutually beneficial client relationships while providing a high-level client experience.
- Requires strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements as they pertain to the financial industry
- Working knowledge of Trust, Wealth, Loan and Banking products and services.
- Develops new business through identifying and calling on existing or prospective customers; promotes and cross-sell Bank’s services; works with Bank operational areas to ensure that quality service is provided
- Serves as relationship manager across departments and divisions.
- Negotiates loan proposals; analyzes and evaluates credit requests; coordinates with Underwriting and Credit Risk Management in preparation of credit presentations, recommends appropriate risk rating; makes oral presentation to loan committee, implements approval or declination action.
- Participates in community and professional activities in order to enhance Bank’s image and expand personal network of business contacts for development of new business inside and outside of traditional banking hours.
Where You Shine:
- Bachelor’s Degree in in business, finance or related field; minimum of 5 or more years of experience in a financial institution
- Ideal candidate would have previous experience working with both law and medical practices.
- Experience in analyzing financial statements and preparing loan presentations.
- Proficient knowledge of financial products and services
- Knowledge of credit and banking policies and procedures
- Proficient in the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- NMLS License or eligible to be licensed
- Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
- Excellent follow through and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must possess a can do customer service attitude/philosophy

Experience
Preferred- 5 year(s): Bachelor’s Degree in in business, finance or related field; minimum of 5 or more years of experience in a financial institution Ideal candidate would have previous experience working with both law and medical practices.
Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
