Job Description

In the valley since 1982, Lodi Garage Doors and More specializes in the installation, service and repair of garage doors and automatic openers, as well as custom wood garage doors, commercial and overhead garage doors, epoxy flooring and garage cabinets.

Lodi Garage Doors and More has an immediate opening for a sales consultant. A successful Sales Consultant must have excellent communication skills and interact with and work well with others in our fast paced and ever changing industry. This person should have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable assisting customers with problem resolution.

We need a sales-minded, reliable, outgoing candidate to work in the Phoenix Metro Valley.

Position overview for the Sales Consultant:

  • Assist customers on the showroom floor at our main location
  • Solicit Retail and Custom builder business on behalf of Lodi Garage Doors & More
  • Work all assigned Costco leads
  • Participate in product knowledge meetings and staff meetings
  • Work Saturday and evening schedules as required, and participate in trade show activities.
  • Take incoming calls from potential customers
  • Create and maintain relationships that encourage customers to do business with Lodi Garage Doors
  • Strive to increase knowledge of the entire product offering, and stay abreast of new products, features & accessories
  • Help to maintain the appearance of the showroom
  • Provide exceptional customer service through enthusiasm for company and products offered
  • Close the sale

  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Must be familiar with the Construction industry.
  • Prior sales experience preferred: 1-5 years.
  • High level commitment to customer service.
  • Attendance consistent basis
  • Positive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented and proficient in computer operations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to use a 25' tape measure.
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Some construction knowledge a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen, and pass a background and drug test as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $26,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Phoenix, AZ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
