Account Manager / Estimator
Pursuit Aerospace in Berlin seeks an Account Manager / Estimator
Responsibilities include the following:
Serve as the primary interface between Pursuit Aerospace and Customer for functions related to sales administration, new business development, quotation submittals, pricing negotiations, customer service, relationship management, demand management, sales budget forecasting, and overall financial health.
Act as a single point of contact to the customer to build relationships and rapport through providing timely and accurate updates on critical hardware, contract negotiations, meetings or visits that are requested by the customer as well as the primary point for weekly meeting rhythms as requested by the customer.
As opportunities arise, the Sales Engineer may be required to act as a project manager to facilitate activities between the customer and various Company personnel (Engineering, Operations, Planning, etc.) to bring a project through development and into production.
Be able to estimate realistic, accurate and achievable hour/material costs and use that information to provide a competitive quote to the customer by working with Engineers and Lead Machinists.
Download tech data associated with RFQ’s from customers websites and place into internal structure.
Enter RFQ’s into ERP (Epicor) system and manage quote log accordingly.
Some MRO responsibilities
Travel 30 percent.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 -10 years related estimating and quoting experience required.
- 5 – 10 years Process Engineering experience in precision machining environment.
- 5 – 10 years Aerospace Experience
- Possessing no less than five years (5 - 10 years preferred) of producing quotes for related products and processes (i.e., close tolerance complex military parts.
- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques knowledge preferred.
- Experience with developing/documenting procedures.
- Computer proficiency.
