Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise the regional sales team in development of a target account business plan and sales strategy for the assigned market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

· Responsible for all levels of region sales staffing, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, training, and personal accountability of their assigned region’s sales team.

· Responsible for holding monthly, structured store level sales meetings with the branch sales team and management.

· Responsible for regular sales calls with individual sales team members to current and conquest accounts. Document those activities in the weekly Sales Manager Report.

· Manage the relationship between the business and large multi-location, multi-state customers to ensure consistent service, price, and product implementation throughout the commercial tire branches.

· Maintain a weekly reporting of management activities submitted to the Zone Sales Director.

· Strive to achieve maximum market share in assigned accounts.

· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

· Manage expenses to meet budget guidelines.

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

· Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

· Maintain a high level of communication between the commercial sales and operations departments to ensure all opportunities are acted upon in a timely fashion by the appropriate person(s).

· Set an example for commercial tire sales personnel in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.

· Assist in the training of junior sales personnel as required by senior management.

· Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

· Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management.

· Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

· Willingness to travel and work with a team of professionals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 5-7 years of experience in business-to-business sales with strong emphasis on the commercial tire industry.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and the use of a computer and a smart phone.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
