Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across the designated region. This position, created as part of a company-wide restructure, will lead the complete rebuilding aspect of the sales department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction sales and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage customer relationships, drive business development, and enhance account management practices. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with our company's goals while fostering a culture of excellence within the sales team.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- Build, manage and grow an effective and highly performant sales team.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and drive results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer service.

- Produce and present comprehensive reports to owners and management team.

-Drive the marketing and communications strategy for all projects

-Manage overall sales activities that include sales presentations, tracking of sales rends, advertising campaigns, and marketing promotional events for various residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration through outside sales efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and market needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

- Material take off from blueprint/drawings plans

- Attend various public and company events locally and out of town.

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in construction or similar sales.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals.
- Solid understanding of business development principles and account management practices.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Willingness to travel as needed within the region with occasional travels out of region.

- Experience in Construction B2B (An asset)

- Knowledge of the Ontario construction market (an asset)

- Experienced with CRM

- Strong business acumen

- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information

- Excellent decision-making, organizational, time-management, administrative, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and a strong customer service focus.

- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

- Proficiency in English. French is helpful but not required.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
