About the Position
This is an exciting position for an experienced and highly motivated technical salesperson with a proven track record of driving growth and build relationships with clients. The position requires extensive travel throughout North America representing 50 – 70% of the time. Our clients value quality which translates into reliability and uptime for them. Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Market Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies for commercial R744/CO2 refrigeration systems.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial refrigeration sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and maintain technical specifications, and other marketing collateral as required to develop the market.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and new technologies in refrigeration.
- Provide market feedback for product development.
Technical Sales
- Leverage your technical expertise to filter opportunities, address inquiries and communicate a clear understanding of product benefits.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers on CO2 refrigeration racks and related systems.
- Customize solutions based on customer needs and industry standards.
- Create technical quotations, tender responses and sales agreements.
- Offer pre- and post-sales technical assistance, including site visits and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of R744/CO2 refrigeration systems, commercial refrigeration racks, and related components. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of R744/CO2 commercial refrigeration
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong network within the commercial refrigeration industry a bonus
Compensation
