Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Prepares feasible, accurate and timely quotations for sustaining and new customers build to print projects as well as new design projects and existing standard products.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Monitors orders once received to ensure that they stay on track and meet delivery dates.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments, as well as internal gap areas.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Forecasts revenue on a regular basis by reviewing marketing information, sales patterns, expected growth, established targets, and other data so as to provide financial planning information.
- Forecasts material needs for purchasing and operations to plan as well as secure premium pricing for material needed.
- Carries out sales activities at accounts through personal contact, including negotiating price and other conditions of sale to enhance retention and maximization of major account revenue potential.
- Provides all information needed for the operations team including purchasing, receiving, materials management, order planning & scheduling,assembly, quality assurance, and packing & shipping functions to ensure on time delivery of acceptable product.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in business or electrical engingeering, science, or equivalent.
- 5 years (minimum) business experience in contract manufacture of PCB assemblies, battery manufacturing, or automotive electronics and assemblies.
