We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a passion for building long term customer relationships in the Akron/Canton area. Candidates will ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or an additional five years’ experience in and/or understanding construction industry in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold calling to identify and engage potential clients.
- Manage a defined territory, developing strategic plans for growth and customer acquisition.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor solutions effectively.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking and referrals.
- Utilize CRM to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and report on progress.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on leads.
- Participate in business development initiatives to expand market presence.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and product offerings.
- Collaborate with major vendors to create growth strategies, execute growth objectives and tactics
- Facilitate customer growth through product and equipment training seminars
Skills:
- Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation.
- Strong territory management skills with a focus on results-oriented strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends for informed decision-making.
- Experience in technology sales, particularly software solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
