Job Description
The primary role of the Sr. Digital Marketing Project Manager is to successfully lead and execute the marketing process that will drive the integration of marketing strategy, key initiative prioritization and marketing resource allocation. This role needs someone who is a strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing, possessing the ability to drive growth and engagement through email marketing, website management, digital media, social media, and other online marketing efforts. Furthermore, they will be a true extension of our main Client contacts, and is expected to communicate effectively through email, phone, and video conversations to understand all details of their accounts and projects. The Sr. Digital Marketing Project Manager must have the ability to thoroughly communicate the details of a project to the various service departments of the Client and/or Quad.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing & merchandising leadership team to drive a holistic strategic roadmap that delivers business outcomes to maximize marketing impact at scale
- Manage & maintain the planning process of the Integrated Marketing Calendar. To encompass all marketing tactics to ensure alignment, synergy, campaign focus, seasonality, product category drivers, etc.
- Assist in managing all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, helping support data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop, in collaboration with client, cadence of Website Marketingchanges to home page, category pages, takeovers, etc. Brief the work & manage to execution. Work with internal Optimization team to implement. Test, measure, refine.
- Develop, in collaboration with client team, cadence of Catalog/Direct Mail Marketing. Understand current cadence & recommend potential opportunities to change the process, layout, and add new type of print collateral to improve performance. Manage the full catalog process of development & production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Design, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Manage, plan, & execute organic Social Media Marketing. Tell compelling brand, product, customer, events, promotions stories to drive brand awareness, affinity, following growth, and sales.
- Traffic projects between all necessary account, client and/or Quad service departments to seek proper approvals and see through to execution.
- Help proof creative material to ensure specifications match those approved. Cross check for any errors. Attention to detail is critical to ensure all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients and/or deployed.
- Build and maintain account and client relationships with low-to-mid level and some upper level management.
- Keep Client Service leadership informed regularly of events/issues that could impact client relationship.
- Actively participate and at times lead internal and client meetings as directed by the Client and/or Account Manager by bringing fresh ideas, thoughts, comments, etc.
- Bring ideas/solutions to the client and team to accomplish client needs.
- Assume responsibility over basic administrative duties for each project.
- Review all estimates received from internal departments for accuracy.
- Be a self-motivated, problem solver. Research first, provide details discovered to date, and then ask for direction to complete.
- Quickly learn how to use internal project tracking software to ensure that all internal parties and the client are meeting scheduled dates.
- Assist in any other marketing project assignments as approved through the Manager Client Services.
- Ability to understand and identify opportunities for continued growth.
- Suggest opportunities to the Client Services Manager to educate the client on Quad's services - directly or through the Client Services team.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality and performance of all services provided to the Client(s) by Quad
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communication, marketing or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of agency and/or brand experience in omni-channel marketing/advertising campaign/project/account coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of buyer journeys and how to effectively streamline experiences through website best practices
- Knowledge of Google Analytics as well as other marketing platforms.
- Understanding of email advertising and marketing strategy, creative, photography/videography, production, digital and tradition media; omni/multi-channel advertising mindset
- Proven track record of success in digital marketing roles, with a focus on email marketing, website management, digital media, and social media.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to experiment with new ideas and strategies.
- Strong background with project management concepts, methodologies and tools
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook
- Travel as required, temporary assignments (out-of-town)
