Consistent with our strong growth strategy and focus on our customer experience, Duncan-Parnell is currently looking to add a Sales Manager - Survey Equipment & Construction Technology to focus on sales and support for our Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina territory. This position can be located anywhere within this region.

Job Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day sales activities within the survey technology sector, including product offerings, customer engagement, and market positioning. This role is essential in driving revenue growth by promoting advanced survey solutions, ensuring competitive pricing, and optimizing sales strategies. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to maintain a strong market presence, focusing on client needs, cutting-edge survey technology, and overall sales performance to maximize profitability and market share.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Account-based planning with representatives to ensure targeted growth.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipelines, and forecasts.
- Onboard new hires successfully, ensuring they are equipped to contribute to sales objectives.
- Engage in field activities, including customer-facing visits with sales representatives.
- Lead deal negotiations to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the pricing of used equipment by researching market trends to inform pricing strategies,
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure proper alignment of sales goals and strategies.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to boost sales.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and strategies.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven leadership and management abilities with a strong focus on driving sales performance.
- Extensive knowledge of pricing strategies, sales cycles, and market trends in the used equipment industry.
- Proficient in sales software and CRM systems for effective lead management and tracking sales activities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with clients, colleagues, and team members.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to optimize sales outcomes and business decisions.
- Expertise in negotiation, driving favorable deals while maximizing profitability.
- Skilled in sales coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
- Ability to manage gross profit through disciplined discounting practices.
- Effective collaboration with Operations and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
- Advanced CRM knowledge to track KPIs and metrics for continuous performance improvement.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales management, with a strong track record of leading teams, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in the geospatial or construction industries is highly desirable.
