Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Manager will create and oversee all sales and event bookings, marketing and branding, and event operations for Port Chester Air Riderz location. You must be a leader who is passionate about sales and the sales process while providing exceptional guest service. Understanding of the local market is a key element in driving strategic partnerships with local school groups, corporations, fundraising organizations, camp groups, and guests with special needs This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, creativity and customer service. This position will report to Management. Responsibilities include:
- Drive community relationships and event sales through database management, cold calling, and networking
- Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers (schools, churches, corporations, non-profits, community groups, sports teams etc.)
- Drive group sales and corporate events
- Oversee event bookings and ensure compliance of all booking and event policies
- Assist in the hiring, training, and scheduling of all event team members (Event assistants, Event hosts) to ensure adequate coverage of events
- Serve as primary contact for all guests booking events, following through with the entire process
- Work with the management team to develop, host and promote special events to bring in new business to the facility
- Develop an ongoing content calendar for corporate Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages
- Imagine and create engaging posts (images, GIFs, video)
- Create graphics.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to build followers, fans and ultimately new customers
- Engage directly with guests and prospects through corporate social properties
- Responsible for influencer and blogger outreach (contracts, negotiations, PR kits, etc).
- Create E-blasts for the locations.
- Actively monitor social media trends, best practices, and opportunities
- Manage FB ads for all 3 locations. Monitor and track ads performance;
- Other management duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum
- Outgoing, friendly personality
- Previous management experience
- Previous event management experience
- Previous sales experience required
- Previous experience with scheduling, hosting and managing events
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
