Duncan-Parnell continues to grow and is looking to add a Sales Manager in our Eastern NC territory. This role is a critical position providing leadership and the tools for continued sales growth and team development in Eastern NC.

Job Summary
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities. Provide leadership while staffing and directing a sales team towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the Eastern NC territory and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for sales team members.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Responsible for sales growth and the performance and development of all sales team members.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Ensures that all sales team members meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Conducts regular training, coaching and counseling with sales representatives to build motivation and selling skills.
- Ensures that established minimum margins are kept on all self-performed and outsourced jobs.
- Identifies and assigns sales leads and prospects.
- Conducts monthly (at minimum) individual meetings with sales team members for pipeline reviews and updates.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Creates a positive and exciting working environment for all sales team members.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Identifies and actively participates in local networking events to cultivate relationships and grow sales.
- Identify and target high potential accounts for sales opportunities.
- Provides timely feedback to Sales Director regarding performance.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Recruits and hires sales representatives based on criteria agreed upon by Sales Director.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
