Boost Mobile, the newest wireless service provider with a nationwide 5G network, is seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded Principal Sales Analyst for our National Accounts. This role involves utilizing data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and strategy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, advanced analytics, and a strong understanding of the telecom or wireless industry. This position will be instrumental in driving sales growth through informed decision-making and comprehensive reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions.
- Conduct market research and evaluate partnership opportunities, presenting recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with sales leadership on key metrics, tracking performance and addressing underperforming areas.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for KPIs, training teams on effective usage.
- Align sales objectives across marketing, finance, product, and data teams to ensure data accuracy and integration.
- Use predictive analytics for sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any Business field, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales analytics or data analysis; team leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Skilled in SQL, Python, or R, with familiarity in CRM systems like Salesforce and data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective problem-solving and project management skills for handling multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of sales strategy, processes, and metrics.
The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
