About Us

Westboro Flooring & Décor has been providing the Ottawa area with flooring and window coverings in the commercial, new housing, residential and institutional markets since 1962. We became one of the largest flooring companies in the Ottawa region with two locations (Ottawa & Kingston).

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on flooring materials, styles, and designs.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to accurately estimate project requirements.
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to select the best flooring options based on their budget and requirements.
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with customers post-installation to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and advancements in flooring technology.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a regular basis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the flooring industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
