Culinaire is in search of an experienced and seasoned CATERING SALES MANAGER to work with an amazing team at the Miami Lakes Hotel on Main Street.
The Catering Sales Manager serves the needs of our business, guests, and clients by booking, planning, organizing and managing the details for special events. They will focus on the execution of all aspects of event planning, including coordination from the signing of a contract forward, VIP needs, amenities, menus, timelines, event execution and billing.

A few responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries and developing customers independently in both the social and corporate markets
- Building local client base through sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking, referrals
- Meeting weekly quota for new business outreach
- Achieving a high percentage of closing sales and meeting or exceeding monthly booking goals
- Ensuring successful events that meet both the clients’ needs, and the company’s profitability syandards
- Communicating all relevant information to appropriate departments in a detailed manner
- Managing all events from initial sale through successful completion
What we are looking for:
- Delphi knowledge desirable
- Catering sales and event planning experience in an upscale hotel, country club, catering venue or restaurant
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strict attention to detail
- Experience with menu development, event coordination, event order origination and food concepts
- Ability to work weekends and evenings when events are held
- Bilingual is a plus
