We are growing and looking to hire an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. This will be a go-to person who will help our sales organization grow. This person will be based from our office and support our outside sales force. This person will also familiarize themselves with our product line to assist customers with questions when necessary. Additionally, and most importantly, this person needs to possess advanced Excel skills to spearhead the uploading of product content updates, and new product introduction data across our distributor websites.

The ideal candidate will be technical by nature, have the ability to easily understand and learn about products, as well as the ability to pass this knowledge onto others. This person will be exceptionally organized with a keen ability to follow up on customer inquiries and leads. This position also has the potential to make sales and earn commission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and support to customer base and sales force.
  • Manage orders; confirm price, develop quotes, determine product availability, and lead time.
  • Develop and maintain suite of sales reports for management & salesforce.
  • Build & maintain content for top eCommerce customers’ product listing pages.
  • Liaison with marketing team to prepare necessary data sheets, sell sheets and other pertinent sales materials.
  • Maintain pricing and account data on ERP system.
  • Interface daily with clients, account managers and internal departments to quickly resolve issues.
  • Provide data analysis on the competitive environment, current product offering, customer needs. Collects and maintains market information.
  • Prepare sales presentations and training materials for sales force.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
  • Experience working in an ERP environment, NetSuite a plus++
  • Experience with CRM’s, Salesforce a plus++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a high aptitude for providing excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational skills. Must demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner.
  • Must possess take charge attitude, be a self-starter, and ensure projects are completed in full and on time
