Job Description

Join our team at Dealers Auto Auction of the Southwest, a locally-owned auction with big business capabilities and the best customer service available anywhere. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our growing sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of the sales cycle, with a focus on building new relationships, driving business in new accounts, and maintaining our reputation of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and continually train the Dealers Auto Auction Sales Team.
  • Promote Dealers Auto Auction amongst franchise automotive dealerships, independent used vehicle dealers, and wholesale buyers.
  • Provide constant sales and technical support to current users.
  • Identify, manage, develop, and follow up on leads.
  • Manage and update leads and current client accounts.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or in person.
  • Establish and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the current automotive wholesale industry.
  • Assist in the development of an equitable sales commission/incentive program.
  • Provide management with scheduled reports detailing analytics/revenue performance of the Sales Team.
  • Negotiate Contracts in collaboration with management.
  • Participate in sales and industry events.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven field sales experience and management tenure.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, especially regarding inventory management solutions, is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent is preferred.
  • Expert in the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve sales quotas.
  • Proven experience in key accounts and strategic sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, written, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Confident working in a technology focused environment.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Independent, self-driven and a team player.
  • Willingness to travel daily within the region.
  • Pay $60 - $70 annually plus commission.
