Account Manager

As our Account Manager you will take a lead on maintaining and expanding our customer base in your assigned region. Your work ethic, self starter attitude, and customer focused mindset will be vital in propelling our company to the next level.

What you will be doing:

• Procuring Ferrous and Non-Ferrous material
• Maintaining relationships with current customers to ensure monthly goals are met
• Expand client base through in-person and on-the-phone cold calls
• Travelling throughout Saskatchewan with scheduled overnight stays
• Develop monthly action plans to spend approximately 70% of the time out of office and 30% in the office
• Negotiating pricing with customers
• Provide reports on and document customer meetings and information
• Work with the operations department to ensure the consistent quality of metal material delivered to our facilities.
• Assist in developing and executing strategic plans for obtaining new business
• Perform special projects as required
• Promote a positive safety culture

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a commodity sales or marketing role
• Experience in the metal recycling, steel, or an industrial industry
• A post secondary degree or diploma in business or engineering
