Join our team as a Sr Account Manager!

This is a remote position based out of Nashua, NH.

The Sr Account Manager is responsible for selling services and acting as a point of contact, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business for a diverse customer base.

What you'll do:

  • Seek and identify new sales opportunities for incoming high value quotes.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our customers, industry and New Hampshire offerings.
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to turn leads into active customers.
  • Collaborate across the business, working closely with internal resources on high value deals in the US region.
  • Research customers and become a Sheet Metal and CNC manufacturing subject matter expert.
  • Carrying out product demos (95% remotely, 5% face-to-face).
  • Serve as the key contact person for leads, prospects, and customers on all presales activities and understand the needs, decision-making process, and budgeting requirements.
  • Research, qualify, and penetrate new divisions and rep-generated opportunities within accounts.
  • Tailor value proposition to segment and persona.
  • Drive for partnerships vs projects within accounts.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and engage with customers over the phone and Internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) to close sales and support customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and offer guidance in meeting prototype or project objectives.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of company products/services and utilize sales techniques effectively.
  • Maintain complete and comprehensive customer account information in Salesforce.
  • Meet and exceed metrics of customer visits, scheduled calls, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Participate and or execute special projects as requested.
  • Leverage social selling platforms.
  • Effectively manage campaigns and reach out to new prospects.
  • Champion of company initiatives and strategie
  • Attend face-to-face Team Meetings or other events as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Attend/participate in trade shows.

What it takes:

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at customer companies and successfully obtain referrals.
  • Ability to successfully resolve customer conflicts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in systems and selling tools, including E-commerce & Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of professionals (internal and external)
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present in person, internet, and over the phone.
  • Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently to reach sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Mastered consultative selling skills.
  • Demonstrated technical product savvy.
  • Outside selling skill proficiency
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks without losing sight of objectives
  • Ability to shorten sales cycle and sell business value.
  • Thorough understanding of technical aspects of offerings
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Business to Business (B2B) Sales, typically in inside sales
    • Experience in metal fabrication and CNC is a plus
  • Minimum 1-year successful large account penetration
  • Demonstrated track record high performance
  • Comfortable serving a large and diverse customer base.

Physical Demands:

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone, and printer; reach with hands and arms, talk, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; most of this job function is performed in an office (remote and onsite) setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, job duties may require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection is occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
