Full Job Description

As the Business Development Manager, and Estimator you will be responsible for expanding our customer base; maintaining and building relationships with prospective customers; and for estimating project values. The base salary for the first 3 months will be paid weekly based on a 55k salary. Following 3 months, there will be a $3500 sign on bonus, the base salary will increase to 65k and all benefits will be offered in full. All closed contracts will be paid out via a bonus of 2.5% of the gross contract value.

  • Service accounts in New York City Boroughs.,
  • Networking within our industry and related industries
  • Closing construction contracts with company management
  • Review bid requirements thoroughly
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Communicating with customers, project managers and superintendents on design changes, value engineering, budget variation, and scheduling.
  • Ensures job completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, satisfactorily, each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must have knowledge in residential construction.
  • Education and/or Experience — 5 years plus of estimating experience. A combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of a four year degree.
  • Mathematical Skills — Able to calculate data such as percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concept of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Communication Skills — Able to communicate in writing at the proper level.
  • Computer Skills — Proficient in Microsoft suite of office productivity software. Sales Force System proficiency within 30 days of assuming position.
  • Analyze Information, Estimate, Plan, Research Technical Issues, Attention to Detail, Informing Others Frequently.
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with senior management
