Job Description
We are looking for an experienced delivery driver and merchandiser with sales potential to enhance sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.
Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
- Monitor and report customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Collaborate with territory sales manager to coordinate and execute sales, delivery and merchandising of products to the shelves and in displays.
- Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
- Understand layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves
- Monitor stock movement and out of stock items.
- Build constructive customer and team relationships.
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
Skills
- Proven working experience in merchandising
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, turn and reach while moving breakable packaging up to 45lbs.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle to commute, plus ability to drive company van to complete sales and delivery route across territory daily.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
