Local Hospitality Company Seeking Full Time Sales Director
Sacramento area business with a long history of success is looking for a dynamic sales director with an established track record to lead a strong sales team.
Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with at least 2 years of sales management experience. Must be a proven self starter and motivated to drive sales success.
Compensation range: $60,000 - $65,000 plus benefits.
General Description
Responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of the Sales Department in order to acquire new customers and create satisfied existing customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Recruit, hire and train effective sales staff. Schedule all departmental staff.
- Ensure positive image of the business through responsive customer communication and knowledge of programs, services and facilities.
- Maintain excellent customer service at all times with customers and ensure that staff provides the same.
- Develop and manage annual budget for sales department wages. Monitor financial results versus budget to ensure the department stays within budgeted amounts.
- Achieve/exceed sales targets. Set and review goals for Sales Reps.
- Make sales presentation using established company procedures.
- Play the lead role in achieving/exceeding prospecting goals through phone calling, emailing, texting, business outreach and community events, and track all prospects through CRM software.
- Create, implement and manage marketing plan and be accountable for its control. Create yearly sales strategy with direct supervisors and assist in developing marketing material to support the plan.
- Ensure positive image of the business through responsive customer communication and knowledge of the business programs, services and facilities.
- Attend scheduled appearances and promotions for the company.
- Support and enforce all rules and regulations of the company as a staff team member.
- Prepare for, attend, and participate in meetings with your supervisor, department head meetings, corporate sales meetings, and annual All Staff Meetings and other scheduled meetings.
- Keep required statistics and records.
- Responsible for additional manager duties as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Five-plus years of experience in membership, retail, or related sales field.
- Minimum of 2 years sales management experience.
- The ability to manage your time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
