As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management at our prestigious venue. You excel at client satisfaction and thinking out of the box to meet individual client needs. Your primary goal will be to maximize bookings and revenue while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and you're passionate about sales with a mindfulness for overdelivering on client needs. This position has a base salary and a bonus/commission plan based on individual sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Implement sales strategies to achieve company goals including lead conversion and lead generation.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand market reach.
- Ability to execute events from coordination to facilitation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales leads and details in CRM system.
- Networking in the community for opportunities and as a representative of the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive a competitive advantage and unique approach to events.
- Track and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and success.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in event management or related field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or related degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Triple Seat and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of client development including new business development, lead follow up, qualifying the client, proposal presentation and closing business.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals consistently.
- Ability to provide solutions and/or resources to challenges/opportunities arising during the development and sale of programs.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret client proposal requirements, RFPs, contracts, financial reports, and other legal documents.
- Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients and/or supplier/partners.
- Must be able to prepare reports, write business correspondence, develop and write proposals, and sales reports.
