Job Summary:

As the Director of Sales, you will lead and scale within Strider's sales organization to drive growth, achieve revenue targets, and expand our market presence. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of strategic sales planning, team leadership, and building trusted client relationships.

What you will do:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Design and implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, aligning with Strider's mission and business goals.
  • Lead and Manage the Sales Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Business Development: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to expand Strider's presence in target markets.
  • Monitor and Optimize Sales Performance: Analyze sales metrics, pipeline health, and market trends to ensure effective decision-making and goal achievement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and client success teams to align strategies, ensure seamless customer experiences, and drive product-market fit.
  • Represent Strider: Serve as a key representative at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals in B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams toward high performance.
  • Experience designing and implementing sales methodologies, processes, and KPIs.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a history of cultivating trusted client partnerships.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in security, technology, or SaaS industries.
