POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Position: Technical Sales Specialist (Outbound)
  • Position Status: Full Time – Work from Home
  • Hours of Operations: Monday-Saturday between 10:00am-10:00pm Eastern
  • Rate of Pay: $16.20-$16.50/hour + up to $6.00/Hour in commission

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will support our client’s suite of products and services where applicable and provide product/service options that are tailored to the needs of the customer.

This team provides excellent service in connecting with customers, analyzing their needs, and offering customized solutions. If you are someone who is agile, self-driven with strong communication skills, has a passion for sales, easily builds rapport, delivers consistent results and is and is genuinely invested in helping others, you would be a great fit for our team!

HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THIS POSITION:

Monday-Saturday between 10:00am-10:00pm Eastern time. However, based on your location, you will be scheduled between the following times:

  • Alberta: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Mountain Time
  • Manitoba: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Central Time
  • Quebec: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Eastern Time
  • Nova Scotia/New Brunswick: 11:00 am to 11:00 pm Atlantic Time

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MUST have strong and developed oral and written communication skills in English
  • MUST have a minimum of 1 year sales experience (Inbound or Outbound), Customer Care or Retention
  • An ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Possesses excellent writing skills including written word, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • A flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends)
  • An ability to build rapport with customers
  • An ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • A secure area to store company and customer related information
  • Required Set Up: Power outlets for both a PC and Monitor, High Speed internet (10MB or greater). A physical space where you can fit your PC and Monitor near a router or modem that is private and free of distraction. This is important since you must be connected via Ethernet port and not by Wi-Fi. Apple or Android phone capable of downloading using authenticators

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Connect with customers from coast-to-coast
  • Meeting key performance indicators
  • Conduct outbound calls for customer retention, sales, and services
  • Promote and recommend the latest products and services to customers on outbound sales queues
  • Manage call flows, provide first call resolution and satisfying customer expectations
  • Strive to understand the customer’s situation and recognize the customer’s needs while providing customized solutions
  • Create a need by educating customers on product & services and execute business strategy that meets or exceeds financial objectives
  • Following up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and expanding sales opportunities
  • Take accountability, and the appropriate action, to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively as if they were your own
  • Accurately resolve customer questions with a high level of professionalism
  • Accurately document customer interactions within the appropriate systems
  • Communicate effectively to customers regarding account information, products, pricing, promotions, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of competition and product knowledge
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Other job tasks as required
